We just got back from a delightful 7-day cruise on Royal Caribbean International's Rhapsody of the Seas.  We visited: Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico and Georgetown, Grand Cayman.  The ship was beautiful... the weather sunny and pretty... the food fabulous... the ports wonderful... another perfect vacation.  I have posted some of the 700+ photos from the cruise.
In 2001, I took a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines' Inspiration.  Check out this detailed Cruise Review of the cruise.  It features a daily diary of the cruise, a ship tour, descriptions of shore excursions, and a comment card.

Universal Studios Orlando, Florida - Islands of Adventure

Titanic the Exibition

Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida is a most remarkable theme park.  We visited the new Islands of Adventure park in March 2000.  What a spectacular place!.  The park is divided into several themed areas and features appropriate rides, attractions, gift shops, and food areas in each section.  We had visited the movie side of the park earlier.  This was our opportunity to enjoy Islands of Adventure.  We did!
On our recent visit to Orlando, we happened across "Titanic the Exhibition."  It is a combination museum and attraction where you follow the history and tragedy of the great ship.  Board the Titanic and see life size reproductions of a first class cabin, the grand staircase, the promenade deck, and the dock at Southampton.

The exhibit also includes many artifacts recovered from the wreck as well as items salvaged from the scene of the disaster in the days following it.  They also have an excellent gift shop!

USS Alabama

The World War II US Navy battleship Alabama is a museum ship/memorial In Mobile, Alabama.  We recently had the opportunity to go aboard the great warship for a tour.
